After serving in tax departments at multiple Fortune 500 companies, Eli returned to his true passion: public accounting, where he provides tailored tax, accounting, and advisory services to small- and mid-size community businesses and individuals. He specializes in proactive tax planning, estate and trust taxation, and nonprofit organization support, always crafting dynamic strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals. Eli’s vision for Stratax is to build a full-service firm offering seamless accounting, payroll, and tax solutions, complemented by exceptional advisory services that extend beyond the traditional CPA model. Outside of his professional life, Eli resides in the country north of Columbus with his family. His wife and three children are all very active, with his kids involved in dance, competing locally in Dublin, OH, and traveling for national competitions. An avid sports fan, Eli enjoys catching a game whenever possible.

Matt Brown is a cornerstone of Stratax Consulting, leveraging an incredibly diverse background and unique qualifications to assist clients. A published author in the insurance industry, he is also a seasoned real estate investment expert and operator, owning and managing multiple businesses within the restaurant and real estate sectors. A proud graduate of Ohio Northern University, Matt possesses a deep understanding of restaurant management, enabling him to guide operators through common pitfalls, and is equally eager to assist individuals venturing into real estate investing. He is dedicated to empowering clients in starting and optimizing their new or existing businesses. Beyond his professional endeavors, Matt resides in Bellefontaine, OH, with his four boys.

Maggie Hite serves as Stratax Consulting’s Client Relationship Specialist, dedicated to ensuring every client engagement runs smoothly from start to finish. With a strong background in operational excellence and strategic growth, she excels at fostering collaboration, optimizing processes, and leading impactful community-focused initiatives. Maggie’s clear communication style and decisive leadership build trust and drive impactful results, ensuring clients feel supported and understood. Outside of her role at Stratax, Maggie is a devoted wife and mother of three, cherishing her family life in Hilliard, Ohio, and passionately supporting her kids in all their sporting endeavors.

In his personal time, Alex shares his life with his fiancée, Lauren, and their two cats, Otis and Eden, in their charmingly old brick house. He enjoys nature walks with Lauren, the creative outlet of cooking, the hands-on challenge of building cars, and unwinding with a good book.
